# PillTracker Go Privacy Policy

**Effective date:** October 6, 2026
**Last updated:** October 2, 2026
**Owner and Controller:** Wesley Buchan
**App:** PillTracker Go

## 1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PillTracker Go handles personal information. PillTracker Go is owned and operated by Wesley Buchan ("we," "us," or "our").

PillTracker Go is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not sell your medication information. Medication-related information and other details you enter into PillTracker Go remain on your device and are not transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by us.

Starting with version 1.5.0, PillTracker Go offers an optional Pro subscription and an optional one-time support purchase, and it shows advertising to users who have not purchased Pro. These features rely on three third-party services: Apple, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. This policy explains what those services receive and the choices you have.

This policy is intended to address applicable privacy requirements in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, where applicable.

## 2. Scope

This policy applies to the PillTracker Go mobile application, related support communications, and any associated services that link to this policy.

It does not apply to third-party websites, services, operating systems, app stores, device manufacturers, cloud-backup providers, notification providers, advertising providers, or other services that process information under their own privacy notices.

## 3. Key Privacy Commitments

- We do not sell your medication information, and we do not provide it to advertisers or advertising networks.
- Medication names, dosage instructions, schedules, notes, and adherence history you enter in PillTracker Go remain on your device.
- We do not operate a server that receives, stores, analyzes, or gives us access to your medication records entered into the app.
- Advertising in PillTracker Go is not based on your medication data. The ad service receives device and ad-request information, not the contents of your medication records.
- We do not use medication data to create advertising profiles or to make significant automated decisions about you.
- Pro subscribers do not see ads.

## 4. Categories of Information

### Information stored locally in the app

Depending on how you use PillTracker Go, you may enter or generate information such as:

- Medication names, dosage instructions, schedules, refill dates, notes, and adherence history
- Reminder preferences and notification settings
- Optional profile details, such as a name or nickname, if the app provides such fields
- App preferences, app lock settings, and locally generated app data

Medication-related information may be considered health information, sensitive personal information, or special-category personal data under certain privacy laws. PillTracker Go is designed so that this information remains locally on your device.

### Information you provide when contacting support

If you contact us, we may receive information you voluntarily provide, such as:

- Your name and email address
- The content of your request or message
- Device type, operating-system version, app version, or technical details you choose to provide
- Any other information you voluntarily include in your communication

Please do not include unnecessary medical details in support messages. If you voluntarily provide health-related information in a support request, we will use it only as necessary to respond to that request, comply with law, protect our rights, or perform another purpose disclosed at the time of collection.

### Purchase and subscription information

When you view the Pro offer, subscribe, make a support purchase, or restore purchases, the following information is processed:

- An anonymous app user identifier generated by RevenueCat (we do not require you to create an account)
- Product identifiers, purchase and renewal dates, subscription status, and entitlement status (for example, whether Pro is active)
- Transaction identifiers and receipt data from the Apple App Store
- Device and app details such as app version, operating-system version, device model, country or region, and IP address

We do not receive your name, Apple ID, credit card number, or other payment details. Payments are processed by Apple.

### Advertising and device information

For users who have not purchased Pro, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may collect or receive information such as:

- IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device
- Device identifiers, including the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking, and other device or app identifiers
- Device and software details, such as device model, operating-system version, language, and app information
- Ad interaction and performance data, such as ad requests, impressions, and clicks
- Diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information related to the ads SDK
- Your consent choices, where a consent message is shown

AdMob does not receive the contents of your medication records.

## 5. Sources and Purposes of Processing

We collect support-related information directly from you when you communicate with us. Purchase, subscription, and advertising information is processed through the third-party services described in Section 6. We and those services use information only to:

- Respond to questions, requests, bug reports, or support inquiries
- Provide the Pro subscription and support purchase, verify purchases, restore purchases, and unlock Pro features
- Show advertising to users who have not purchased Pro, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve app stability
- Protect the security and integrity of the app and support systems
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity
- Maintain records, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable terms
- Comply with legal obligations

We do not use medication information entered in the app for these purposes because we do not receive that information from the app.

## 6. Third-Party Services Used by PillTracker Go

| Service | Purpose | Information involved | More information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store, StoreKit, TestFlight) | Processes payments, subscriptions, and app distribution | Purchase and subscription transactions, Apple ID, payment details (held by Apple, not by us) | [Apple Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) |
| RevenueCat | Manages in-app purchase validation, subscription status, and entitlements | Anonymous app user ID, purchase and subscription data, device and app details, IP address | [RevenueCat Privacy Policy](https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) |
| Google AdMob | Shows advertising to users who have not purchased Pro | Device identifiers, IP address, device and app details, ad interaction and diagnostic data, consent choices | [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) and [How Google uses information from apps that use its services](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) |

These providers act under their own terms and privacy policies. Where they process information on our behalf, we require them to use it only for authorized purposes and to maintain appropriate safeguards.

## 7. Subscriptions and Purchases

PillTracker Go offers the following optional purchases, which are shown with their price in the app before you confirm:

- **PillTracker Go Pro:** an auto-renewing monthly subscription that removes ads and supports the development of the app.
- **Support purchase:** a one-time purchase that supports the development of the app.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

You can restore previous purchases from within the app. Apple's standard license terms for apps, including the [Apple Standard End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), apply to your use of the app and purchases unless we provide separate terms.

## 8. Advertising, Tracking, and Your Choices

PillTracker Go shows banner advertising provided by Google AdMob to users who have not purchased Pro. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized, depending on your device settings, your location, and your consent choices.

Your choices include:

- **Purchase Pro:** Pro subscribers do not see ads.
- **App Tracking Transparency (iOS):** On iPhone and iPad, the app may ask permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, or if you turn tracking off in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, the iOS advertising identifier is not made available to the app and ads are less personalized.
- **Consent message:** In the EEA, the United Kingdom, and other regions where required, a consent message may appear when you first use the app. You can accept or decline, and you can change your choice where the app or Google provides a privacy options control.
- **Google ad personalization:** You can manage ad personalization for your Google account at [Google My Ad Center](https://myadcenter.google.com/).
- **Contact us:** You can contact us using the information in Section 19 to ask about ad-related data or to make a privacy request.

Ads are provided by Google and are not selected by us based on any medication information. Clicking an ad may take you to a third-party website or app that is governed by its own privacy policy.

## 9. Disclosure and Sharing of Information

We do not disclose medication information stored in the app because it remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

We may disclose personal information only when necessary:

- To the service providers listed in Section 6 (Apple, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob) for purchases, subscriptions, and advertising
- To other service providers that process information on our behalf, such as email, technical-support, app-distribution, or security providers
- To comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request
- To protect the rights, property, safety, and security of PillTracker Go, our users, or others
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, subject to applicable legal requirements
- With your consent or at your direction

## 10. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising (U.S.)

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not sell or share your medication information.

Some U.S. state privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly to include making device identifiers and ad-interaction data available to an advertising provider so that ads can be delivered or personalized. When personalized ads are shown through AdMob, the disclosure of device identifiers and ad-interaction data to Google may be considered a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising under those laws.

To the extent these laws apply, you may opt out by:

- Turning off tracking for PillTracker Go in your iPhone's Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, or declining the tracking request in the app
- Purchasing Pro, which removes ads
- Contacting us at the email address in Section 19 with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share"

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, including medication information, for advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

## 11. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have privacy rights under applicable state law, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Kentucky, Indiana, Rhode Island, and other states as their laws take effect or apply.

Subject to applicable law, these rights may include the right to:

- Know or confirm whether we process your personal information
- Access personal information we hold about you
- Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling
- Limit certain processing of sensitive personal information, where applicable
- Appeal a decision about a privacy-rights request, where applicable
- Receive equal service and price even if you exercise your privacy rights

Because medication and identity-related information entered into PillTracker Go remains on your device, most requests about that data can be completed by editing or deleting data in the app or by deleting the app and its local data through your device settings. Requests about support-related information under our control can be submitted using the contact information in Section 19. Requests about data held by Apple, RevenueCat, or Google may need to be directed to those companies under their policies.

We will verify requests as required by applicable law. If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and stating that you are submitting an appeal. We will review the appeal and respond within the period required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, we will provide information about any further review options that may be available under applicable law.

### California residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"), applies to our processing, California residents may have the rights described above, including the rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

In the preceding 12 months, we have processed or disclosed the following categories of personal information for the business purposes described in Section 5:

| Category | Examples | Disclosed to | Sold or shared |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Anonymous app user ID, device identifiers, IP address | RevenueCat, Google AdMob | Device identifiers may be shared with Google AdMob for advertising (see Section 10) |
| Commercial information | Purchase and subscription history | Apple, RevenueCat | No |
| Internet or app activity | Ad requests, impressions, clicks | Google AdMob | May be shared for advertising (see Section 10) |
| Approximate geolocation | General location estimated from IP address | RevenueCat, Google AdMob | May be shared for advertising (see Section 10) |
| Sensitive personal information (medication data) | Not collected by us and not disclosed | None | No |

California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent's authority and may verify the consumer's identity directly.

## 12. Health Information and HIPAA Notice

PillTracker Go is a consumer application and is not a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate acting on behalf of a HIPAA-covered entity, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Accordingly, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) generally does not govern information handled by PillTracker Go.

Even where HIPAA does not apply, we treat medication-related information as sensitive and have designed PillTracker Go so that it remains on your device and is not provided to advertisers.

PillTracker Go is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, pharmacy guidance, or medication instructions from a qualified healthcare professional.

## 13. Device Storage, Backups, and Permissions

### Local storage

Information you enter in PillTracker Go is stored locally on your device. You can generally access, correct, export if the app provides an export function, or delete the information through the app or your device settings.

### Backups and transfers

Your device may be configured to back up app data through Apple iCloud, Google services, a device manufacturer, a mobile carrier, or another third-party backup or transfer service. Depending on your device settings and the app's technical configuration, locally stored app data may be included in those backups or device transfers. Those third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

### Notifications

If you enable reminders, PillTracker Go may use device-level notification permissions to display medication reminders. Notification content may be visible on a locked screen or other device surface depending on your device settings. You can manage notification permissions and visibility through your device settings.

### Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode

If you enable the app lock feature, PillTracker Go uses your device's biometric or passcode authentication. Biometric data is handled by your device's operating system and is not provided to PillTracker Go or to us.

### Tracking permission

For users who have not purchased Pro, the app may request permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, as described in Section 8. You can change this choice at any time in your device settings.

## 14. Legal Bases Under GDPR

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data only when a valid legal basis exists, including:

- **Consent:** For advertising purposes that require it, such as the use of device identifiers for personalized ads, where you give consent through the consent message shown by the app, and when you voluntarily provide information or enable an optional feature that requests consent
- **Performance of a contract:** When processing is necessary to provide requested support, purchases, subscriptions, or app functionality
- **Legitimate interests:** When necessary to maintain app security, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot issues, and operate the app, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights
- **Legal obligation:** When processing is necessary to comply with applicable law

If you voluntarily submit health-related or other special-category data through a support request, we will process it only with your explicit consent or another lawful condition permitted under Article 9 of the GDPR.

## 15. GDPR Rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to:

- Request access to personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Request deletion of personal data we hold about you
- Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Request data portability where applicable
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, including consent to personalized advertising
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

Because app-entered information stays on your device, you can usually exercise access, correction, deletion, and portability rights directly in the app or through your device settings. For support-related personal information held by us, contact us using the information in Section 19. For information held by Apple, RevenueCat, or Google, you may also use the rights process described in their privacy policies.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. We will respond within the time periods required by applicable law.

## 16. International Data Transfers

PillTracker Go does not intentionally transfer medication-related information from your device to us.

RevenueCat, Google, and Apple may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on safeguards for international data transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law, as described in their own privacy documentation. If support-related information we control is processed outside your country, we will use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

## 17. Retention and Security

### Retention

Medication-related information and other data entered into PillTracker Go remain on your device until you edit, delete, or uninstall the app, subject to device storage, backups, and operating-system behavior.

We retain support communications only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, protect our services, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. We delete or anonymize support-related personal information when it is no longer needed, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Purchase, subscription, and advertising information held by Apple, RevenueCat, and Google is retained under their own retention practices.

### Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information under our control. No system, device, storage method, or transmission method is completely secure.

Because PillTracker Go information is stored on your device, you should protect the device with a passcode, biometric authentication, device encryption where available, and current operating-system updates. Do not share your device credentials with others.

## 18. Children's Privacy

PillTracker Go is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. Where a higher age threshold or parental-consent requirement applies under applicable law, PillTracker Go is not directed to children below that threshold without appropriate authorization.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, or that a child is using the app, without appropriate authorization, contact us using the information in Section 19 so that we can take appropriate action.

## 19. Contact and Privacy Requests

To ask a privacy question, exercise a privacy right, submit an authorized-agent request, opt out of sale or sharing, or appeal a decision about a privacy request, contact:

**PillTracker Go Go**
Owner, PillTracker Go Go
Email: info@PillTracker Gogo.com

Please include enough information for us to understand and respond to your request. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.

For EEA, UK, or Swiss users, you may also have the right to complain to the applicable data-protection authority in your country of residence, place of work, or the place of an alleged infringement.

## 20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our data practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy in the app, on the applicable app listing or website, or through another appropriate method and revise the "Last updated" date above.

If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.

## 21. Acknowledgment

By using PillTracker Go, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, PillTracker Go will request it before processing personal information for the relevant purpose.
